I am Nancy Jackson and was elected in 2023 after serving 29 years in the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office. I have seen many changes in the office over the years and have enjoyed my career serving the people of Lincoln County. We hope our citizens and guests feel welcome in our office. We are accountable to you and will strive to provide friendly and efficient service when you come in to see us.

Welcome to the Lincoln County Clerk’s website. Lincoln County is one of Kentucky’s three original counties. As the keeper of records, our county clerk’s office has land records, wills, surveys, and marriages from the late 1700’s to the present. This rich history makes us aware of the need to preserve our records while being able to accommodate our customers both online and in the office with accurate and efficient data management. We also provide motor vehicle license and transfers, marriage license, hunting and fishing license, notary appointments, and hold our county’s elections. Our website provides an overview of our office and links to further information. We also have a Facebook page we invite you to follow which provides additional and immediate updates to schedules and happenings in the office.
